he company (Industrie du Châssis Philippe) was created in 1991 in Baulers, under the initiative of its founder and president, Jean-Marie Philippe. The steep rise in production quickly led to a relocation in a bigger site. And thus ICP moved its headquarters to Bois d'Haine, inside a disused cardboard packaging factory.
From the very start, the watchword was to produce traditional doors and window frames in series, offering professional carpenters a top-quality manufacture reflecting the know-how of a true craftsman (needless to say, at definitely competitive prices). The ambition being to propose genuine industrially crafted products and to comply with each and every custom order.
To implement that hybrid production philosophy, JM Philippe made considerable investments to equip his factory with a sophisticated and cost-effective line. With conveying rails and tables, for example. Computers were naturally also put at the service of a production line ready to meet the most stringent deadlines and fulfill the most specific demands. Furthermore, a wood trading company was set up to guard ICP against any supply shortage and to provide its customers with the best quality/price offer. Carrying on its investment policy, ICP bought in December 2006 a brand-new, automatized production line SCM Windor 100 L.
Today, we at ICP keep an attentive ear to our customers' needs and do our uttermost to keep them happy. We are spreading geographically (we already have a stronghold in France and plan to introduce our products in the Netherlands) and diversifying our production (a guillotine window project is currently under study). However, our sole imperatives remain quality and your satisfaction.
We are looking forward to counting you among our customers... or working again with you! If you want to know more about our company, read the interview with Jean-Marie Philippe. He will be glad to show you around his factory.
